Rhythmatic is already into their 3rd instalment in 2012, and it’s promising to be their best party yet. Haven showcase on the Rhythmatic decks with some individual artists with great unique sounds, is back on the 14th of April with another stellar line up.

For this night we are proud to bring you, for the first time, a very unique artist. We have been trying for some time to secure him for our parties, and finally he is here, Boris Werner, synonymous with Moon Harbour and Circo Loco.

Known as an enfant terrible, a radiant light in every after hour and known for his merciless productions, Boris Werner is a thrill seeker of his generation. The Amsterdam based artist isn’t afraid to speak his mind and this reflects in his music making. Having played alongside countless innovators and inspiratory artists in clubs, parks and tunnels, Boris rose to the occasion time and time again. With surgical like precision and pain snakingly selecting his records he sets just the right party vibe.

Boris Werner, forever young at heart, and a charismatic pillar of house, he will keep pushing dance floors and promoters to fall under his spell with his enthusiasm and dedication to the party.

For this special occasion we are welcoming back Alex Celler, synonymous with the Rhythmatic party and has appeared countless times and has always managed to captivate our fans musical thirst. On the night we will also welcome back our residents Stathis Lazarides, Archie Hamilton and Ceri.

Rhythmatic Music 005 - No Hype

No Hype, or Adonis Ichim, comes from Ploiesti, a city not far away from the crazy night-life in Bucharest. He finds inspiration in nature, small crowded places and maybe most of all, people and the actions between them. Now living in the heart of Germany, his sound is made up of a stable mixture of deep, minimalistic house, and a mosaic of slippery beats and soundscapes.

The main idea behind No Hype is that electronic music isn’t always about a hook-line that you remember, or something that listeners are going to sing next day. Producing music is a particular inner call that can evolve into moods which influence his temper.

…. And we continue our Romanian assault with our second Romanian guest, Herodot, on the 3rd March for another intimate session in an intimate environment.

Rhythmatic Intimate Sessions is becoming a regular feature in the capital, showcasing some of the most talented artists the electronic scene has to offer.

Our last 2 events have been completely sold out and we can’t wait for this upcoming party with Herodot. Herodot is one of the new talents of the Sunrise Roster. He started his music journey in 2004 together with his good friends El Cezere and Kozo. He developed an accurate yet dynamic style, strongly influenced by Rhythm & Sound, Cadenza, Rhadoo, Cypher Hill and Zip. In 2006 he got involved in organising parties under the brand Dot Music. Herodot has shared decks with the likes of Marco Carola, Ryan Crosson, Magda, Barem, Onur Ozer, plus many more. During the last year, he has focussed on production and the first success already came as his colleagues RPR sound included his song on their mix for Circoloco’s 10th Anniversary CD. And he’s promised he won’t stop there.

It's been four years since London's international party throwers, Rhythmatic, began producing some of the UK's must-visit parties. The team have spent this time composing line-ups to perfection, and this year is no different. Bringing world favourite, Cocoon's Onur Özer, and the incredible duo, Livio & Roby from Desolat to the table, the promise of yet another enthralling party is once again lingering in the Rhythmatic air. To celebrate their upcoming appearance, Livio and Roby have delivered us this beautifully crafted exclusive podcast.

From initiating the first studio sessions back in 2004, Livio & Roby are one of the foremost proponents of groove laden house, fast becoming ambassadors of deep funk-blended tech-house on some of the leading labels in the scene as well as controlling the dance floors of techno playgrounds around the world.

With consistent studio output and live sets over the last four years, 2011 looks set to be their year, with Dj’s including Loco Dice and Steve Lawler heavily strengthening their profile with huge support in their backbeat of warm-swung loops that drift towards the sounds of early house and never fail to unwind with a looped combination of stunning tones, subtle synths and intricate drums.

Riding high on the techno scene’s recent climate change with grooves that twist and turn each bar yet never loose the consistent grasping control over your body’s lower torso; Livio and Roby have been producing percussive prompted beats with a natural European zest long before the majority of today’s techno dj’s ripped back the parched electronic layer to reveal a more organic house sound.

Rhythmatic Intimate Sessions is back to what it does best - creating unique and intimate Sessions wherever they have been booked to play. Our next instalment is taking place at Cargo with a very special debut by Chris Carrier.

There are two kinds of DJs: those whose goal is to make a name for themselves and those whose goal is to make music - and let the rest follow. Parisian Chris Carrier is among the latter. For more than a dozen years he's been an underground icon, churning out more than one hundred records and remixes for a host of labels. Too busy working to chase a spot in the limelight; Carrier is nevertheless rightly revered as one of the most gifted, prolific producers on the dance scene.

Refusing to restrict his output to one genre or one school of thought, Carrier has dabbled freely in everything from house to hip hop, drum 'n'bass to minimal, techno to electro. Most DJ's have one label - if at all - but Chris is so restlessly creative he's founded a whole fistful of labels over the course of his career, including the renowned Adult Only imprint, Chronobrain, Combustible, Taka, X86 and Direct Art. He has also worked under more than a fifteen aliases. Chris is an artist who refuses to be pigeonholed or to conform to a bland "career plan." Growing up in Paris, his father, a keyboardist, provided his early musical inspiration, along with heroes like Quincy Jones and AC/DC.
